Rye - Easter Trip 2017
Went down to Rye, a town in the Southern peninsula of Victoria, also known as the Mornington Peninsula for those not in Australia. For the trip I bought with me two incredible lenses that one I got from the Box Hill Camera Market (http://www.apcsociety.com.au/market.html) and one from a close friend of mine. They are actually both Leitz Weltzlar Summicron F2 50mm, but one with the minimum close distance of 0.5 metres and one with 0.7 metres; and of course they were both used on my trusty Sony a7ii with a metabones adapter. My friend saw me getting a summicron F2 50mm, and he wanted to know what the difference was and asked me to give them a try, and who could say no to try out not one but two great lenses from the red company. The first day I was using the Summicron with the closer minimum distance, I really didn't do the lens justice by going to the beach, at night, but I know it will definitely come back in another day.
