WHITE NIGHT 2017 MELBOURNE
WHITE NIGHT is the annual event in Melbourne city to show case its the city central illuminated by colours and sounds. There's different light shows and concert hosted in various part around the city, each has its own flavours. And as a multicultural city, there were of course various of food truck from various cuisines. As usual there was mountainous amount of people bring their loved ones. It is awesome to see city holding huge events like this, bring the community and people together.
Instead of taking a photo of the colour filled ice cream truck, I thought the he was pretty interesting as I'm hundreds have thought about taking a photo of the truck.
This was something called the purple rain, you are given a clear umbrella and you walk across the alley way under purple lights. I wish I could have gone in, but as you can the wall of fortress standing in front of me.
The plain concrete floor becomes a canvas that everyone can express themselves. A grey granite slab by day, a painting by night.
This isn't a art piece, I just thought the colours and shapes were really nice, but I really should have bought a wide angle lens to capture the whole thing.
There was a stage where you could learn some Bollywood dancing.
The fire flies are meant to be nice and gentle, but they sorta came out looking a little too sinister and evil.
There was also giant bunnies that lighting up the South Yarra park.
This was a light show on the three geometric columns, accompanied with sound effects.
Along side the building on Flinders Street displays a wide panel of art works and designs.
Its nice to Melbourne lit up in the midst of the night, showing off the potential the city has.
Thanks for coming everyone, I do have something exciting coming soon, so please stay tuned for the next post.
