Thailand Trip Part 2 - Koh Phangan
Hi guys, welcome back to my part two of the Thailand trip. This is where we takes the overnight train from Bangkok to the south, and there we will take a boat to the Khao Sok National Park. That was where my favorite part of the trip happened.
An overnight train with bunks and only fan, it really was a experience to have. Its an experience to have once and never do it again. The climate on the train was hot and humid like all Thailand, except now you have loud train track in the background. Sleep did not happen over night.
We at the a small town next to the Khao Sok National Park at 6 am local time, we were all tired and exhausted from the great train ride across the country. We had a small breakfast at this little cafe before we got onto a boat to our floating bungalows.
I thought the rocks remind me of the MAC default background.
After a short boat ride, we arrived at our floating bungalows. It was beautiful, it was as if we were the only human being floating on this lake. We surrounded by mountains and hills, and literally surrounded by the waters.
We spent the day swimming and kayaking around the lake, waters were calm and the views were amazing. When you are in the middle of the lake surrounded by mountains and water, you really become a part of the nature.
The next morning we took an morning boat back onto the shore, and onward to Koh Phangan on a ferry.
Waking up in an hour later, we were picked up by their 'Taxi" and driven to SARANA bungalows.
During the night, we went to the nearby beach bar and had a great fire show.
The next day we on a boat ride around the island.
On the last day of the tour, we were organized to go to elephant enclosure. We were also given the chance to get on an elephant and get splashed.
And that night, we had last night together as a tour group.
We shared our dinner and lit on some candle kites and see them off into the sea, and here was the end of another journey, and the start into our diving course in a nearby island called Koh Tao; and our last leg into the Thailand trip back in Bangkok.
