A day in Melbourne - 10/07/2015
There was a Winter Fest fireworks at Docklands that occurs every winter apparently. Didn't know until two days ago. As we make our way to the piers, decided to take some street shots as well.
Even as a multicultural society, why are we still experiencing racism. sigh....but let's lose hope that one day there wouldn't be any more discrimination.
Just chillin' against the street light
Thought the tiny cloud was pretty weird and interesting, how it's just sitting there like that.
FREEDOM!!!
Finally arrived in Harbour Town, a little bit just before Docklands. The sun was setting, we had to hurry to try to catch the sun set.
These are rental bikes in city, that you could rent timely and all you need is put it back in another bike station located everywhere in city.
These tracks are the old tram tracks that was in used years ago, while ones are just to the left.
Finally arrived at the piers, and it doesn't look like we'll make it to the sun set, might as well make it the best we could.
The fireworks starts at 7:30pm, so we still had plenty of time to kill, so a dinner was appropriate.
Burger? nah......
Walked acrossed an arcade looking for food.
Decided to have a Tom-yum noodle soup, it was cold.....
And a bit of desserts before the firework.
Haven't had these in ages...but soooo goood!!!
I really regret not bringing a tripod, had to shoot long exposure hand held!!!
Took a walk around the piers after the fireworks.
That's the West Gate Bridge!
A little bokeh never hurts!
Melbourne S
After walking back to Flinders Station, took the chance to look around the Federation Square as well, there's usually on at Fed Square, festivals or what not.
There was a Ice- skating rig opened for the Winter, only a small one though, but we couldn't get any photos of that.
After walking for so long, first going around Melbourne CBD, then walked to Docklands to see fireworks, then walking back into the Flinder station to look at Federation Square. Tiring day in deed, but nothing beats the night view of the Yarra River at night, when all lights shines onto the river.
Thanks for reading my little blog, I appreciate the page views a lot, I realise some one out there is actually reading them; it means alot.
